After eight years, I am no longer reachable at a plain old @uwaterloo.ca e-mail address. It took them a term+ since graduating, but my accounts have finally been retired. I just realized it was even older than my JediNet address, by at least a few months.

Oh website, how I’ve ignored thee. February went by in a blur … trip to London for birthday, Sven & Mandy returned from Japan and promptly hosted a Movie Day, then they were in my neck of the woods a few weeks later and we went to a Danny Michel show in Toronto. And throughout [...] Well, my ass got handed to me on my survival analysis final. For a good 25% worth of the marks, I either left it blank or wrote some non-mark-worthy gibberish. You’d think I would have learned my lesson from the midterm. Actually, as bad as I thought that went, I ended up [...] It’s hard to believe that I have a mere five days of classes left. Ever. Over the past few weeks I’ve been making mental notes of the little things I’ll miss. My multicolor pen. Anyone who has seen my notes from class will understand. I don’t have the neatest of handwriting, and [...] It’s nice to feel organized and in control. With my sampling assignment for Monday out of the way, I don’t have anything else due for a few more weeks. I’m able to review and organize my class notes that were starting to accumulate in piles here and there. In particular, I can [...] My survival analysis midterm a couple of days ago was officially craptacular; probably one of the worst midterms I’ve written. And it’s not because it was hard, since honestly I thought it wasn’t that bad at all. I messed up by spending too much time on the first question (and correcting silly mistakes), [...] In the fine tradition of the pigeon-rat from The Simpsons, the janitor on Scrubs this week alluded to Leonard: half-kitten, half-monkey. Now where can I get me one of those? I can’t believe how quickly these past couple of weeks have flown by. Sven and Mandy are now out in BC, hanging out for [...] I’ve been home for a week now, and I think I’m comfortably out of school mode now. The last couple weeks of the term seemed to pass by in an odd haze. I wasn’t completely focused on studying or school work, but not really all that concerned with it and still getting it [...] My first exam is tomorrow afternoon. So, tonight I’m heading to Sven’s parents’ place to watch some Survivor and play some GameCube (I think Mike is coming too, not sure of Mandy’s whereabouts). Then I’ll come back into town in the morning when Sven goes to work. I’ve kept up nicely with the Stat 831 [...] Taking thirty seconds to mention that the Prosper class rocks. Any more updating would make me feel guilty as I’m way behind on getting this presentation and report done. By late tomorrow afternoon I can look forward to a relaxing exam period of studying. The DC library is nice and quiet on a Friday evening. I guess all the annoying people have “better” things to do. It’s also nicely deserted here on the 6th floor of MC. I could get used to this … well, most likely not, but it’s still somewhat novel being here this late [...] I could have sworn I posted this long-winded entry sometime last week, but apparently not.
