I just made cookies. They passed the first test: I didn’t go blind. I had some eggs that were approaching an expiry date, noticed a recipe on the back of my jar of peanut butter, and even improvised with some chocolate chips.
I’ll work a few hours tomorrow, then head straight to London. Spend a few days with the family, do the xmas thing, Billie & Ryan will be in town and getting some people together on Boxing Day eve, then I’ll come back home to ‘Sauga the next day. I’ll load up MJ with food and water, and she should be good for that amount of time. Not too much trouble she can get into while I’m away. Hopefully.
