I believe in the traditional definition of right-wing political wacko, which is why I’m actually going to vote in the upcoming federal election. And it’ll be a vote against Stephen Harper. I’m a dreaded one-issue voter this time around, and the idea of revisiting the same-sex marriage issue just demonstrates to me how clearly out [...] Now that I’ve been back home for a couple of days, I should probably get around to unpacking and maybe some other productive activities like doing dishes and cleaning. Afterall, I did manage to fit in the first season of 24 and plenty of sleep so some balance is in order. While much of 24 [...] I just made cookies. They passed the first test: I didn’t go blind. I had some eggs that were approaching an expiry date, noticed a recipe on the back of my jar of peanut butter, and even improvised with some chocolate chips. I’ll work a few hours tomorrow, then head straight to London. [...] Typing is weird right now — my hand is feeling somewhat numb. My team at work went out for an xmas lunch, followed up with a few games of bowling. My first game was pretty sad, somewhere in the 80s. The second was much more competitive, with the top four of us [...] Yes, this “Family Edition” of The Amazing Race both sucks and blows. But I’ve been watching each week out of commitment to the previouls wonderful installments. And the sooner this one’s over, the sooner the producers can move onto the next season and hopefully return to form. Some ramblings while watching the [...] Time for a quick review of some Mississauga-area computer stores. The story: last week my desktop became insanely sluggish. The processor was constantly maxing out, even on the most basic of tasks.
