One section that I’ve been planning since I started putting this site together is “Events”. Basically, this will be a calendar-type listing of some neat stuff I plan on doing in the future if anyone wants to join in. Some examples: Firefly Marathon. Firefly: an exceptionally entertaining show from Buffy/Angel creator Joss Whedon, [...] Damn that JJ Abrams and his love of cliffhangers! Not that I’m all that surprised by how the finales of Lost and Alias leave you wanting more, the first two seasons of Alias ended just about every episode this way. But son of a bitch! Assuming both shows are back in the [...] There aren’t many scenarios I can envision where I’m at home with “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” blaring from my computer speakers. Perhaps there’s only one such scenario, which would be tonight while listening to an unofficial Gilmore Girls soundtrack I came across and downloaded. I knew the collection would be eclectic, just from memories [...] I’ve made a few small changes to existing pages. Since I’ve found a job for the time being and have moved from Waterloo, my resume is already in need of a change. I’ve pulled the documents that were previously posted until I get around to updating them. I don’t know what I’ll do with [...] Hmm, I guess I left this entry in the preview window instead of submitting it yesterday morning. Anyway, the trip to Waterloo was fun. Less than a week into this cat ownership situation, a few things have become clear. Some are reminders of what I knew before, others are particular quirks of Mojo and MJ. cats need to use the litterbox mere moments after you’ve cleaned it out My entire television watching schedule for the night was based on the projected time necessary to get my laundry from the dryer to my apartment. It was determined that this time would be longer than a standard commercial break. So, rather than watching Lost while it was on and risk missing even a [...] I spent my last few days off before work in Ottawa, leaving Thursday and getting back home on Sunday. My audio book plans a la Sudbury trip didn’t work, as I waited too late to burn the CDs only to find problems with the RW discs. These were pretty old ones at only [...] It seems everytime I check off something from my to-do list, I think of a few more items to add. A big thing is to get this place kitty-friendly, as I’m coming back from London this weekend with my brother’s two cats, Mojo and MJ. Since Lisa is really allergic, they’ve been temporarily [...] One of these days I’m sure I’ll settle into a routine and things won’t seem so hectic.
