Just saw a great new trailer for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy over at UGO. You have to follow a link from their main page in order to view it, and it’s small and streaming, but it’s worth it!

Any of my friends who have taken lectures with me can probably confirm that I have a habit of falling asleep in class. And I mean almost every class. I’m fine if I’m actively engaged, like writing notes, but the minute the professor starts just talking to elaborate a point or something, I [...] Took a bit of time this evening to make a few updates. Pictures section: Removed registration and commenting. If I ever get around to enabling other features such as letting friends post their own pictures, then I’ll revisit user accounts. Right now it’s just confusing having separate registration for the pictures and blog portions of [...] It’s very tough to watch an Audrey Tautou movie and not be distracted by how adorable she is. It’s a great casting move, because if the actual movie only provides 2+ hours of boredom you can at least sit there and be smitten by her. But with A Very Long Engagement, the story [...] Spent the weekend in London, although there’s few who could vouch for it. The majority of the time I was cooped up in the basement, in front of my laptop, working on two assignments for this week. I thought I was mostly finished before I left town, but I got hung up on [...] I’m getting pretty good at this annual contest of cheating death. Twenty-six straight successes! But the older I get, the more my birthday is just another day. I’d be hard pressed to remember how I spent any of the past few years. Last night was about as low-key as it gets: [...] Or also “Longing for the days of AdCritic”. It’s extra difficult for us north of the border to see some of the great commercials that debut during the Super Bowl. Good thing there’s the internet. And sites like this. I haven’t watched them all, but some suggestions so far: Sharon His Girlfriend, P-Diddy [...] I like to describe this movie as what you might expect if David Lynch and David Fincher got together to make a film noir … but Fincher wins out in the end and everything pretty much makes sense. It’s a creepy and disturbing mystery, and the style was so impressive that I’m eager to [...] In the fine tradition of the pigeon-rat from The Simpsons, the janitor on Scrubs this week alluded to Leonard: half-kitten, half-monkey.
