A Canadian voice from down in Utah speaks up on the same-sex issue. Former officemate and Applied Mathie Geoff had his well-written letter to the editor published in today’s Toronto Star (see link in title above). Now if only he displayed the same inclusiveness and tolerance for my so-called “defection” to the world of statistics.

Well… I have a mixture of “Thanks” and “You bastard” feelings going on right now ;-P
I suppose I will change my ways and tolerate those Statisticians in the future, but I have to think about that for a while yet.
I have a couple of American friends down here in the Conservative, Republican state of Utah who are homosexual and they’re pleasantly suprised to hear a “straight guy” advocating for them. Canada is very liberal, esp. compared to Utah, so appreciate what you guys have up there.
