Comfort of my own Bed

I realized yesterday that between recent trips to London and visits to Guelph, I had a stretch of 12 nights where I slept in my own bed only 3 times. And one of those was a Friday night that I could have easily spent in London instead, but I stayed in KW for what now seems like pretty dumb-ass reasoning.

So, congrats to the Red Sox for sticking it to those damn Yankees. I’m too tired to write about the last week and a half, maybe I’ll get to that tomorrow. Maybe not. I think I might buy a DVD burner in the morning, then I’ll be in Guelph for the evening. I realize I should probably hold off a little longer on the burner, as 4x dual layers are just starting to come out and the one I’m considering purchasing is only 2.4x DL. But DL media at reasonable prices is still a while off, and there is some major duty archiving I need to get done. Plus, Future Shop is often such a rip off that I think it’s only fair to exploit their policies that can see me essentially trade in a drive purchased now for something even better a couple of years down the road. I should really examine my moral code to be consistent. A major use of the DVD burner will be to copy movies, yet I go out of my way to justify taking advantage of Future Shop.

Things I mean to write about: movies of the past couple of weeks, cat play-dates, Rilo Kiley lows & highs (in that order), why last week’s Gilmore Girls was one of my favorites, and Raptors game. Not all items are necessarily independent.
