I could have sworn I posted this long-winded entry sometime last week, but apparently not. Here’s the old copy & paste treatment since I still have it saved on my laptop … relative references may be off a bit as a result of this late posting: Things have felt really busy lately, it’s hard to believe [...] Holy shit, my brother just sent me the most disturbing and hilarious thing I’ve seen in a while. Be warned: you may [...] Now that I tend to do all my assignments in LaTeX (despite the fact that it’s by no means a time saver, but only serves to make it pretty), a couple of new benefits have been noted. I’m studying for my STAT 831 midterm and going over the most recent assignment, which was only [...] I realized yesterday that between recent trips to London and visits to Guelph, I had a stretch of 12 nights where I slept in my own bed only 3 times. And one of those was a Friday night that I could have easily spent in London instead, but I stayed in KW for what now [...] I should be getting my school stuff in order and packing for heading to London tomorrow, but this afternoon/evening has just been really blah. I fell asleep while reading earlier and that turned into a two hour nap. I felt like crap when I got up (that’s what I get for sleeping so [...] Scratch that last entry. I’m working on my resume, and thought I was done, when I realized that what I intended to be “Summary of Skills” ended up being “Summary of kills”. I don’t think I’ll need such a section for the kind of work I’m looking for. When it’s slow in the consulting centre I’ve taken to reading some books we have on hand about a statistical software package called SPSS. Not something that I’d really consider using myself, but it’s popular among non-statisticians (it’ll easily let them do analyses — whether they are appropriate or not). So, I pick [...] Man I feel out of it. For the second straight day I forgot to turn on the fan in the bathroom before my shower … it got foggy in there. Seriously, you can probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve done that in living here over the past year. [...] So I’ve just finished the seventh and final volume of the Dark Tower series.
